Thursday (ruled by Jupiter), Friday (ruled by Venus), Monday (ruled by the Moon), and Wednesday (ruled by Mercury) are considered the most auspicious days for marriage in Vedic astrology. Tuesday and Saturday are generally avoided as Mars and Saturn bring conflict and delay respectively.

The Year of the Dragon, Rabbit, Pig, and Ox are traditionally considered most auspicious for weddings in Chinese astrology. The Ghost Month (seventh lunar month, typically July) is always avoided for wedding ceremonies in Chinese tradition.

Dates reducing to 2 (partnership and balance), 6 (love and harmony), and master numbers 11, 22, and 33 are considered most auspicious for weddings in Pythagorean numerology. The date number should ideally resonate with both partners' life path numbers for the strongest alignment.
